Future Tax cuts were passed by parliament in 2019 before the last election when the labour government was elected on the understanding that they would honour the tax cuts going forward.
Morrison , a marketing man , knew that the tax cuts would be an issue at the next election and Albanese either agreed to the cuts or lose the election.
One may recall what happened to Bill Shorten who advocated for the phasing out of negative gearing and pay out of franking credits to non tax paying individual shareholders.
The Albanese Government is correct in adjusting the distribution of tax savings while honouring its commitment to change.
Tinkering with taxation rates for political advantage is not TAX REFORM .
